Mia Hara Hotel Apartments are situated on the north east cost of Crete one kilometre east from the fishing village of Sissi, which is 45 kilometres from the airport and sea port of Iraklion.
The complex consists of 27 apartments and studios, has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere and is set in attractive, tastefully landscaped grounds with terraced walkways, lawns, mature and colourful gardens with two swimming pools. The nearest beach is 300 metres.
The apartments are unusually spacious, built to a very high standard and in accordance with the latest requirements and specifications of the Greek Tourist Board (E.O.T.). The 21 two-roomed apartments sleep up to 4 persons; the 6 studios sleep up to 3 persons. Cots for babies can be provided where necessary. Each apartment/studio has a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin; fully equipped kitchenette including refrigerator; direct dial telephone; radio with music channels; safe deposit box; private balcony or terrace with table and chairs (all with sea and/or mountain views).
Two of the ground-floor apartments have been designed with disabled persons in mind. Ramps are in existence all around the complex with easy access from the ample parking areas.
The two swimming pools are fresh water; the larger one has a graduated depth, the other being a shallow pool suitable for toddlers and children.
Sun-beds and parasols are available on the spacious lawned and paved areas adjacent to the swimming pools.
There are two changing rooms with shower, toilet, hand basin and drier. These rooms are especially useful for guests with late departures.
Public area facilities consist of:
Reception (offering a comprehensive range of services), Satelite T.V. , Lounge bar and pool bar (serving daytime snacks), Restaurant with tables overlooking the swimming pools or with a panoramic view of the coastline and Sisi village,Mini-market including books, newspapers, magazines and postcards, Covered outdoor area with pool table and football table. Also available are backgammon, dominoes, chess, playing cards, etc. Children's play area with swings, seesaws and slide. Cretan evenings, barbecues, quiz nights and pool competitions are held on a regular basis.
