Istron Bay is located on the north-eastern coast of Crete, 13 km from the idyllic harbour town of Agios Nikolaos, 800 m from the village of Istro, 70 km by road from Heraklion airport, 22 km from Ierapetra, the southernmost town in Europe, and 60 km from Sitia at the eastern end of Crete, all of which are readily accessible by car and bus. (There is a bus stop within easy walking distance of the hotel).

Supervisors and organisers ensure that are younger guests have plenty of creative activities to keep them happy. Painting, model-making, playing on the playground and on the beach, videos, dancing in the Mini Disco, table tennis tournaments and tennis football are all offered.
The Istron Bay Hotel has two conference rooms. The "Athenaios" room can hold up to 120 persons, and the "Mithaikos" room can take up to 40 persons.
Standard rooms with a view of the sea, balcony or terrace, welcome basket, individual air conditioning/heating, bath/WC, bath towels, hair dryer, telephone with direct line, minibar, satellite TV, radio, room safe. These rooms are located in the main building.
Superior rooms with a view of the sea in the upper floors, balcony or terrace with sunshade and deckchairs for sunbathing, VIP welcome basket, individual air conditioning/heating, bath/WC, bath towels, hair dryer, telephone with direct line, minibar, satellite TV, radio, room safe, for 2 to 3 persons (convertible couch bed for the 3rd person).They are bigger and have a corner seat with sofa, plus a bathrobe service. Guests who have booked half-board can take their evening dinner in the "Meltemi" gourmet restaurant.

Junior Garden suites, luxurious and in an especially quiet extra building, facing the sea with either a view of the sea or the garden. Round out your vacation day in the best way possible directly by the sea in the Kochili Bar , or on the terrace of the Delfini Bar with a superb view towards Agios Nikolaos, with anything that you could possible want, from an elaborate cocktail to a glass of beer fresh from the barrel. If you choose the Meltemi gourmet restaurant, you can sit directly by the sea and spend every day going on a culinary tour of discovery of the art of creative cooking. This restaurant offers menus as part of half-board, or a la carte, or the "Club Gastronomique" diner.The main restaurant has two air-conditioned rooms and a terrace with a panoramic view. Here you can start you day with a hearty breakfast. In the evening you are offered Cretan hors d'oevres and salads, a choice between three main dishes and mouth-watering desserts - delicacies prepared from ingredients from the region and using the unsurpassed local "extra virgine" olive oil.

During your stay at the Istron Bay Hotel you have the option to take part in all kinds of activities that are organised and supervised by our staff. In addition to that we can also offer aerobic, stretching, water gymnastics, beach volleyball, waterball and dance courses. The tennis court is located in the midst of enormous palm trees and is thus shielded from the wind in a natural way. You even have the option to play tennis in the late evening under floodlights.
For all those who enjoy a more active holiday and water sports, the hotel's own beach has facilities for surfing, water-skiing, pedal boating and canoeing. Guests can also simply have fun
Dance under the moonlight in our open-air disco or enjoy your evening in a nice atmosphere in one of our bars. A special highlight is our folklore evening with live Greek and international music, traditional Greek and Cretan dancing and our classic-trio.
