Detailed Hotel Description
Location: “Mythos Palace” is located on the magic golden sandy beach, ideally situated for children, in Georgioupolis, a natural sensitive area which is protected from the ecological program “Natura 2000”. The hotel beach has been awarded by the European Union with the “Blue Flag”. It is built only 4 Km far from the fisher village of Georgioupolis and 17 Km from the town of Rethymno.
Facilities: The hotel complex is divided in the main building and in bungalow buildings. In the main building it is found the spacious reception with sitting room, the main restaurant, the main bar with big terrace overlooking the swimming pool, the bridge room, the hall with the Satellite TV, the mini market, the jewelry shop, and the laundry services. Between the buildings is placed the main pool with fresh water and the children’s pool, the sunbathing area and the pool bar.
The “Mythos Palace”, de lux category, allocates 206 rooms in different types.
Accommodation: the rooms in the main building and the bungalows with Side Sea View or Mountain View surrounded by big green gardens of the hotel, consist of one bedroom, where 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults can stay. They are spacious and modern decorated. All rooms are equipped with individual air condition (cooling and heating), direct dial phone, mini bar (on charge), safety deposit box (on charge), satellite TV and music channel, private bathroom with full marble bath or shower, hairdryer, special outlet for electric shaver 110 volts, two sided make up mirror and cord to hang clothes. Balcony or terrace with sea, garden or mountain view.
The bungalows with sharing pool and garden view have the same equipment as the rest double rooms.
The Junior Suites with balcony and sea view allocate one bedroom and a sitting room where from 2 to 4 persons can stay.
The Junior Suites with private pool, terrace and direct sea view are equipped as the rest junior suites.
The Villas with direct sea view have one bedroom and a sitting room, private bathroom with full marble bath and separate shower, WC, hairdryer individual air condition (cooling and heating), direct dial phone, mini bar, safety deposit box (with charge), satellite TV with music channel, hairdryer, special outlet for electric shaver 110 volts, two sided make up mirror and cord to hang clothes and private pool that protects the private moments of the guests. Every villa can offer a stay for up to 4 persons.
Food and beverage service: with half board or All Inclusive program
All Inclusive: (all meals served in buffet style). At the dinner daily a cooking show from our Chef takes place, plus four theme nights such as BBQ, Greek night, fish night and Italian night in a circle of 14 days. At the beach operates the tavern with ala carte restaurant (with charge). The beach bar offers ice-cream and several snacks and sandwiches, refreshments, water, local beer, house wine, local alcoholic drinks and cocktails from 12:00 to 18:00, in the afternoon filter coffee and cakes. At the main bar a selection of local alcoholic drinks, a great variety of coffees and cocktails are available from 18:00 to 00:30. Snacks and sandwiches from 22:00 to 24.00. Beach and pool bar is opened from 10:30 to 17:30 and offers ice creams a variety of sandwiches, refreshments, water and coffee.
Half board: full American breakfast and dinner in buffet style with the same procedure without the facilities of the All Inclusive program.
Entertainment: Animation focused on the child. Several shows for all kind of taste are taken place during the week such as “Greek Night” accompanied by a folk dance group, international program or disco night.
Sports: a tennis court, a ping pong table, beach volley are at the disposal of our guests. Rackets and ping pong balls are free of charge, billiard is with extra charge. On the beach at a distance of 150 m from the hotel there are several water sports (high season) at the disposal of our guests.
Spa center: with charge: fitness center, sauna, massage, Hammam, Jacuzzi, solarium. After appointment, are offered ala carte face and body treatments made for her and for him.
Children: the mini club for our young friends (4 – 12 years old) is open 6 days a week from 10:00 – 13:00 and 17:30 – 20:30. There are also a children’s playground, a children’s pool and children’s games. At the restaurant there are children’s chairs and at the rooms baby cots.
