Detailed Hotel Description
Futura Hotel is a modern complex situated on the main road in the quiet coastal village of Maleme. The hotel is rated 3+ stars. It is situated on the north western side of the island, which has much greenery, many beautiful beaches and is also known as the wine district of Chania.
The hotel accommodation comprises of studios and apartments.
The studios are a one bedroom suite with a couch/sofa bed in the living room, suitable for two persons and a child under 12 years and with full kitchen facilities .The apartments are a large two roomed suite. The bedroom has two single beds and the lounge has one or two full size couches or sofa beds. The lounge area has kitchen facilities as well as a dining table. Most apartments have small gardens although some have balconies.
All the rooms are modern in design with marble floors and are equipped with air conditioners/heaters, safes, television, hairdryers, two music channels, direct dial telephones, a fridge and kitchen facilities. Baby cot is offered
The facilities the hotel offers are: large swimming pool, with a smaller child's pool, electronic games, pool table, soccer and hockey table, backgammon and chess, two big screen televisions to view sports and movies, gym room and sauna (under construction).
Internet facilities in reception, restaurant (Breakfast, dinner buffet and a la carte), Pool Bar (Drinks and light snacks during the day), Mini Market (Fresh bread daily, foodstuffs, souvenirs and beach equipment).

The long and beautiful beach is only 300 meters away. On the beach there's room for everybody, even for those who want privacy. There is also sun chairs for rent, and a number of restaurants, souvenir shops and taverns.
