Detailed Hotel Description
Canea Mare is a modern, beautifully designed three star hotel built in 1992 with newly renovated spacious apartments and rooms, arranged on two floors with elevator. The apartments have a separate bedroom and separate kitchen area, with maximum capacity of four persons, on whole a total of 132 beds. Two of these are for the disabled. Canea Mare is a family own and run hotel.
At Canea Mare our rooms and apartments offer the following facilities:

The focal point of the hotel is the magnificent pool and children’s pool, set in a wonderful garden with play area for our small guests. Hotel facilities include a fine restaurant, a pool bar and a street bar, a gymnasium, pool tables, ping-pong table and sauna. Within 50 meters an endless sandy beach with sheltered cafes and taverns. Water sports are available in the clear blue Cretan sea.
The public bus station is situated outside the hotel and the fascinating cosmopolitan town of Chania is just 9 km away. The hotel’s central location makes it easy for our guests to visit many popular destinations by car rental or by public services.
